International Conference and Workshop on
Radar Ornithology and Entomology
25 - 28 June 2007 - Helgoland / Germany
The Institute of Avian Research “Vogelwarte Helgoland” was pleased to host an international conference and workshop on current issues of studying birds and insects by radar. It took place in the “Nordseehalle” on the island of Helgoland (North Sea, Germany).
The conference was hold under the patronage of the German Federal Environment Minister Gabriel.
The program comprised both invited lectures on Radar Ornithology and Entomology, five symposia, and round table discussions on current topics of radar techniques applied to aerial biology.
